We've spent the last few days in SC, riding through rural areas. This is
not a poor area, just very rural, quiet and beautiful. We passed through
communities with well-kept yards, and lovely flower beds like these.
On the other hand, we also saw some more "imaginative" yard art. Note to
Sue P. re your upcoming nuptials: discarded tires may at first glance seem
like candidates for landfill, but think about painting them white and lining
the road to the ceremony. I've seen it done now, and I think it makes the
statement you want your guests to hear about your committment to recycling.
