We rented a car for a day in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and were able to visit

Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Niagara Whirlpool. It's deceptive here--we were

on the Canadian side, and looking across the whirlpool you might think you

see the US, but it's still Canada. Apparently, many people were taken in by

con artists who promised to get them across to the US--for a large fee--via

the air-tram you see in the photo. So now the tram doesn't actually stop

anymore--just reverses direction and takes everyone back to the station.
